PPCA and ARIA announce partnership for 2009 ARIA Awards

PPCA has announced that for the first time it will partner ARIA to support the 2009 ARIA awards.

 PPCA will have a presence at this year’s awards ceremony to highlight its brand and the important function it carries out in collecting and distributing licence fees which reward artists and labels for their creative work.

 The ARIA awards are the biggest event in the Australian music calendar and recognise excellence and innovation across all genres of Australian music. The awards ceremony is an ideal place for PPCA to promote understanding of its brand and role while at the same time demonstrating support for the work of artists and their labels.

 PPCA regards education about licensing and licence fee collection as a key element of its function in support of Australian artists and record labels.
