PPCA introduces updated terms and conditions for public use of protected sound recordings and/or music videos

PPCA is pleased to announce the introduction of its new standard terms and conditions for the public use of protected sound recordings and/or music videos as well as their new multi-use PPCA Licence Details form.

Following extensive consultation with trade and industry associations, the new terms and conditions were finalised earlier this year. The updated terms will be implemented from 1 June 2004 , and rolled out to existing PPCA sound recording and music video licence holders over the coming year.

The updated terms and conditions can be found on the new PPCA Licence Details form.

The new PPCA Licence Details form will replace the existing Application Forms, provided to prospective licensees and Reassessment Forms, provided annually to current licensees to provide an opportunity to update details of sound recording and/or music video usage for the coming year.

Please note that the method for calculating licence fees has not changed. PPCA licence fees continue to be calculated in accordance with PPCA's standard Tariff Schedules, as amended from time to time and published on our Website.

PPCA hopes that by implementing one form, with one set of terms and conditions will help make it easier for all of our licence holders to administer their PPCA licensing needs.
