This refers to your share of public performance, broadcast and transmission income as a featured artist (ie eligible to collect any artist or licence royalty payment by a record company)  on the recording. Please note that this does NOT refer to songwriting or production splits. For example, a solo artist would normally have a 100% share of artist income even when they have used session musicians on a recording or did not write the song themselves, except in cases where they record a duet where there may be a 50/50 split (or other split as negotiated between the two artists). Members of an act or band performing as a band of equal billing (and entitled to collection of performance fees) will share in the payment in equal shares unless PPCA is advised to the contrary by all members of the band.
