PPCA Supports Resound Appeal
PPCA are proud to be supporting a wonderful initiative of the Music Council of Australia named Resound.
Resound was first established in 2009 after the horrific Victorian bushfires, when the Music Council of Australia sought to replace a number of local musician’s instruments that were lost as a result of the fires. The end result being over 250 quality instruments donated to student musicians, studio teachers, schools and recording artists right across Victoria.
After the widespread devastation of the recent 2010/2011 floods and their aftermath, the Music Council of Australia will once again implement the Resound appeal, with a number of Australian music bodies such as PPCA and APRA-AMCOS offering financial support, with the aim to replace instruments on the ground where they are needed most.
